I just got back from Houston on a business trip and looked at a red 86 turbo at Victory Motorcars. It looked to be in excellent condition but I am not a porsche expert. Does anyone know who I might be able to contact in Houston to look at the car again with me? I am from out of state and would be willing to fly in to meet someones schedule. Thanks

Not to start a war, but do yourself a favor and search both here and Rennlist for Victory Motorcars or Robert Neal. I can say from personal experience not to use Eurocar Werks which is around the corner from Victory.
You might want to go to the PCA website, www.pca.org, and burrow to the regions section. E-mail some of the people listed for Houston. I'm sure they can tell you more or get you in touch with some folks in the region. |

try protechnik (sp) or swiss auto haus. james at protechnik was very helpful over phone on some questions i had recently. I have also spoken to other who have said good things about the swiss auto haus. thier phone #'s are in other threads. try searching with houston+shops. i agree with craig001 eurocar werks is little to close to VM to give an unbiased PPI on VM cars.

Protechnic is excellent but about 20 miles from Victory. Sam Shelala (owner) does almost nothing but Porsches. I've used him but for the past 7 or 8 years used SC Repair which isn't far from Victory. Cliff Adams (owner) has owned about 20 911's over the past 20 years or so. Swiss also has a good reputation.
