carrera fuel line, (BAT and AN fittings)

the black and gold fittings are from BAT in florida. I used part # (1)F90 1606 for the filter, (3) FS 1606 one for each rail and one for the damper.
I used (3) -6 AN straight hose ends and (1) steel AN tee.
Also (1) 45 degree -6 AN hose end for the pressure regulator and (1) m16x1.5 to -6 steel adapter from BAT for the pressure regulator because it seemed almost impossible to get the threads running with a straight black and gold fitting ffrom BAT. I used six feet of -6 hose. this was enough to do the regulator to damper line 15.75"
fuel filter to tee 34"
passenger rail to tee 12.25"
driver rail to tee 9.75"
there are cheaper ways to do this, welding adapters to your cut off carrera fuel tubes with fittings, also Bat has steel m16x1.5 to -6 fittings, Or a local shop can press fittings for you.
This is the only way I know where you could get parts and make your own without any welding or crimping, also reusable and replacable hose.

OF course your HOSE length may vary.

Just for an example... I took my fuel line to Amazon Hose in Tampa. I paid around $100 - $120 for my line. Actually for both lines they redid.

When I was there last for an Oil line R & R [$35.00 ] There was another Carrera fuel line. It had a tag for Dave White Autosports... I asked and they said - yeah - no problem - we do those all the time for Dave...

all those fittings are just push ons
BAT has the critical fittings to fit the rails, fuel filter and damper and pressure regulator if you go that way. They're all the same size. The cad steel adapters are a cheaper way. 16mm by 1.5 female to dash six male, see the connection on the regulator in the pic for an example. it's easier to go that route if you don't want to mess with the regulator or damper, or rails. The Aluminum gold are the BAT fittings. (expensive).

I called them awhile ago and the fittings are something like $25 a piece. Not cheap.

I just finish my lines and it's worth the extra $$$ not to go through the aggravation. One thing about Amazon, they only carry Teflon center lines. I wasn't too comfortable about the Teflon sealing over the fittings. If you do want to use the original hard lines, I'd get the rubber center then take it to Amazon to crimp. Just my suggestion, take it for what it's worth.

We did this job the hard way recently using a factory part. BIG BIG BIG job. Benefit of doing itthe hard wayis you get to replace the lines in behind. Ours were in really bad shape.

This is a great thread. I really want to replace all of these lines, b/c I've now got a rr regulator due to turbo and because I've disturbed the lines. What do you do with the lines that mate to the hardlines? I'm still unclear about how those get replaced.
