CIS to EFI - 3.2 intake on a 2.7 part 3, in which I play the god of hellfire.
Last weekend I completed my CIS to EFI install. This is on a newly built 2.7S w/e-cams and 9.5:1 JE's, SSI's ,etc. Was ready to fire it up but had a very leaky injector/rail port. Spilled so much gas in the engine compartment and on the garage floor, I stopped, took the fuel rail off and took everything apart, could see no [problems, put it back together and spilled more gas all over. Did this 3 times until i decided to install the stock 3.2 rails. No leaks. Turned it over to build up oil pressure, plugged everything back in and it started up 1st time and ran. Iwas able to run it long enough to run in my new engine. Tony's (tbitz) Megasquirt kit rocks. Here's some pix, one of the engine running. YeeeHah!!!!. Getting very close now. Need to read up on Megasquirt tuning, etc. but it ran pretty good.

That looks great. I'd be interested in what kind of HP numbers that thing has. A similar engine with webers would put out around 220 HP.

Al,
Looks great! So that's a 2.7 engine with 3.2 intake, and megasquirt injection? Looks like a lot to learn, but you got it done. I'm going to have to run up there and see it in person. Rex

Andy,
Thanks. I'm interested in the numbers, as well. I have another weekend or so of suspension stuff to complete and then I'll find out. Rex, I'm hoping to be on the road in a week or two. I want to get some miles on it, for debug purposes, to ensure that it's dependable before I drive down to the AMLS races in Portland or go on some local runs. You're welcome to come up anytime or in a week or two i'll be ready to meet up someplace... Maybe one of the saturday breakfast meets. Al
