Return Spring - Cruise Control

Help~! I'm at a loss...reviewed 50 threads, Bentley and the Porsche service manuals...nothing

# 27 on the PET extract below: cruise control return spring.
For that matter, # 19 Retaining Plate

Where does the spring mount - both ends?
I've found nothing obvious or logical...anywhere.

Same for the retaining plate.

Pics or advice pleadingly requested.

thanks,
jim

Matt - it helps in that it shows (exactly) what I see on my rebuild - which is no cruise control 'return spring' nor 'retaining plate'. (Shows throttle spring but no cruise control spring).

thanks
Jim
