Bilstein Roll Pin$ HELP!

Hey folks. Bought a 79 SC setup for my 69 T. Has the bigger brakes, rotors, Bilstein's etc. Well, I pulled the whole assembly apart for the first time, to strip and repaint the Bilstein body, and the roll pin came out jsut fine. However, one pin was actally damaged pretty bad. One is still good. Well, I called Porsche, they wanted $28 EACH PIN! Anybody know where I can get a set of these roll pins sub $50? I mean I know this hobby is an open tap on the money barrel, but this is seriously outrageous!

Michael

Call Bilstein directly. They are usually willing to sell them. Last time I bought a few they were somewhere around $7-8 each. 800-537-1085 is the number I used last time. Good Luck

Heheh Yeah Bilstein, ( their phone message pronounced it as bil-stine, not bil-steen, like i've been saying for years ), has them for $1.50 each. I ordered 4 just in case!

Thanks,

Michael

I guess it must have been $7-8 for the few I bought in total. Its too bad Porsche really is sticking it to the older car owners. At least this time its a win for the little guy!!
