Back date oil lines for B&B SSI ??

I read a few threads and saw pic detailing the necessity to backdate 2 oil lines that interfere with Standard larger body SSI heat exchangers. On my B&B system the heating box ix substantially smaller, will this allow clearance on the existing oil lines? Also to add will be 2 in two out muffler, not B&B muffler, I believe it is a Rinspeed or Montey, I've been hearing alot of complaints lately about B&B. my car is a 1987 911 3.2L Thanks

I believe the conflict of newer oil lines vs the older HE's is that the crossover at the rear on the newer lines would occupy the same space as the outlet from the right side older style heat exchanger.

You will need to backdat the oil lines w/ either B&B or SSI headers

I call it the hoop type oil line - maybe stock in early '70's.

Put both sides on loose then tighten. The driver's side is hard to get to (or not possible) w/ the heat exchanger on - so tighten securely first and make sure it won't leak.

Be sure you don't break anything w/too much torque tho!

The Monty is a fat muffler and you will need bigger band clamps to hang it.
