993tt intake on 930 turbo for efi
I know the 3.2 Carrera is the common choice but can a 993tt intake be utilized and more importantly all things being equal will it flow better?

Wouldn't that be cost prohibitive?

I believe the 993 intakes have 3-bolt flange where they bolt to the heads, the Carrera intake uses two bolt flanges. This might not apply to turbos, I'm unsure. I imagine the 3.6TT would flow better due to being designed for a turbo application, but then again the 3.2 intake is worlds better than the stock CIS 3.3 intake.
I agree w/ Rarly, seems it would be cost prohibitive. I think Mark at Hargett Precision is also working on a turbo intake that should be very nice. |
