Virgin Pelican!

Greetings,
I have been lurking on this message board for the past couple of months, and I finally decided to make it official and register myself. I am continually amazed at how informative and helpful everyone is on this board. I'm glad I've found this invaluable resource, and will hopefully be utilizing the expertize often in the near future. I have already purchased Wayne's 101 project book and have begun planning what I should do first.

I currently own a Euro 81SC that I bought in Germany in 1986 and imported myself. Here are the required pics, sorry about the lighting, it was getting late.

Kurt

Kurt,

Welcome to the Forum. You will have fun here.

Nice SC, looks like you did well.

I lurked on all the forums for almost a year before deciding Pelican was THE place to be.

Again, welcome.

Best,
Grady

Welcome! Very nice car. Is that Grand Prix White ?

If it´s a euro - why the big a$$ bumper guards ? Did you have to change when importing ?

There is nothing prettier than a 3.2 Carerra in GP White
Most euros don't have the big rear bumper pads. Does it have an O2 sensor?

Nice car! I guess I'll know when I'm passing your house by all the reflectors on the telephone pole.

Sorry so late in responding.........

LIVI - Thanks, the actual color, I believe, is Chiffon White. The car had to meet D.O.T. specs when imported, so the big a$$ bumper pads were installed, along with stiffeners in the doors.

POR_SHA911 - The car is E.P.A. exempt for emissions, so I don't think it has an O2 senser.

WILLIE COYOTE - You wouldn't believe how many people did not see those reflectors (or the pole) until they hit it!

Thanks for the welcome!!

Kurt

MK,
I live on Montrose Ave., just off Frederick Rd. Not sure if I've seen your car about.
