engine will not run
I replace my fuel lines. The engine starts after bleeding but will only run for about 5 seconds then shuts off. will no start again without priming ( pressing the diaphragm on the mixture control unit). Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, Ken |

First tell us which car you have.
If you search, you will see there are many possible causes, incl fuel accumulator, check valve, WUR and more.

Is this for a lawn mower? Snow blower? What year? Mine is a Sears. It has a primer-diaphragm on the side and needs to be pressed/pumped three times. I love those threads: Help! "Engine won't start", without any details. LOL
