Wiper Wiring Question - HELP
I'm putting the wiper motor back after painting the car. Need help in getting the wiring to the correct connection.
The back of the wiring connection on the wiper motor is labelled as.....  As you can see it is not clear as to what pin is what number. I have tried every combination I can think of and blow a fuse each time.  Must have gone through 7 fuses so far. I can get the wipers to run, but not stop. Or run and blow a fuse on high. Or just blow a fuse. Wiring diagram in Bentley has: 53E blu/wht 53A red & red/wht 53 blk/vio 53B blk/yel 53I grn 31 brn - this one has a ground connector on the motor away from the connector. This corresponds to the wiring I have. Can anyone assist in identifying the correct connector numbers??

did you search a few times? I recall that this wiring has been posted before. also I think the diags are hosted by Wayne also here. if you can't find either let me know tomorrow and I can check my stash of old threads.
