Hey gang. After further inspection of the internals of my 911/01 transmission I found that I have to replace the reverse gear and the 1st gear slider. I found the 1st gear slider here for $482.25...cool the price of a used transmission! But, I can't find reverse gear anywhere. Where can I buy reverse gear? Thanks.

Just to point out what you already noticed -- it's much cheaper to buy a used transmission and combine the best pieces from both of them then it is to buy a new gear.
As far as the reverse ratio is concerned, they're pretty much all the same.

John - aren't the same pieces likely to be worn in any transmission?
Or have you found otherwise?

I have an extra reverse gear if you need one.
