Things to check for the thump.

Hey guys, I recently redid my front suspension and I am having a strange noise that is getting worse. Its very firm and when I hit a sharp bump there is a bad "THUNK" from the drivers front area. It sounds like it could be coming from around the strut mount area but it could be lower in the assembly. Any ideas? I can go over normal bumps preatty easily without an noise but firm ones (and the noise is needing less and less firm of bumps to make the noise). The passenger side doesnt do this, even on similar bumps, so I dont think its the bump stop. What should I check?
