911 CIS owners.... Post your Bosch part numbers

As some of you Pelicans may know, I have a lot of CIS info posted on my website. One page includes a cross reference of Porsche and Bosch part numbers of things like fuel distributors, fuel pumps, and other CIS components. Most of the Bosch numbers are only available for US cars. Finding this info for Rest Of the World cars is difficult. I would like to be able to include Euro cars on my site to make it more complete. I would also like this to represent what is actually on your car, not what some third-party says it should be. I will also try to include Turbo CIS engines soon, so turbo inputs will be accepted as well.

If you would like to contribute to this effort, here is what I need:

First, what is your year model (e.g. '78), engine size (e.g. 3.0), type number (e.g. 930/03)? Specify whether US or ROW (gray market)

Fuel distributor -- 0 438 100 xxx
Air flow sensor -- 0 438 120 xxx
Aux air valve -- 0 280 160 xxx
Aux air regulator -- 0 280 140 xxx
Warm up regulator -- 0438 140 xxx

I realize that this will require some effort. If you can't see numbers on some of the components, just skip them, I'll take whatever I can get.

I can start you off, we know the P/N for the '78 Euro 930 WUR ends in 112. I can get the P/N for the fuel distributor for you as well. The rest is 930/63 California crap.

Jim I've got 3 WURs for various 930s. All have different P/Ns, some made in Germany and at least one in France. How many countries produced these Bosch parts?

Thanks for the inputs so far, guys.

Brian, I'll take the numbers for the "California Crap" as well, as long as it relates to the CIS (air injection pumps, diverter valves, etc. I don't need). What seems like crap to one person may be useful info for another. A data base is no good without data. (An old but wise saying I just made up.)

I don't have any info on the locations of where the CIS parts may have been produced (outside of Germany, of course). Maybe someone else will have an input on this.

My intent is to follow this thread and keep recording what's posted here. I won't respond to every input unless there are questions, but keep the postings coming. They will all be appreciated.

If things get lax I may give the thread a bump ever-so-often.

Oracle, Thanks for the comments on the website. I hope to do some updates as soon as I can make the time.

Jim, for your spreadsheet to be a thorough cross reference you would need to list the part numbers for each component of every engine type for every year that CIS was used.
The posters need to include their engine type number. For example the '78 930 had 4 CIS versions: USA, Japan, ROW, and California. Some of the components will be used in multiple applications, some will be unique. THAT would be great info!

Donnie and whoever else,

Post what you have related to the CIS (only), don't be bashful...... If I get repeats, I can wade through it. The more confirmations I get for any particular car, the more confidence I have that that part number is valid for that car and not just a Bas-ard part someone threw at the engine.

Hi Mark,

I guess I wasn't clear on what I was asking for. I am looking for info on the CIS only. I can pick out the info on your CIS from your post, but I wasn't looking for anything else like brakes and wiper blades. If someone else has already posted inputs on a particular CIS system, what I was trying to say is it's ok to repeat this info on the same CIS system from an identical car.

Again, folks, please just CIS info....

lol, I thought this would be easy. Looks like you need to post a form for everyone to fill out!

Ron,

I thought it would be pretty simple, but maybe more guidance is in order. I can't find any info on posting a form, were you pulling my leg, or is there something I'm missing about a form ? Do I need to start over? If I hadn't recognized the AAR in tonypeoni's photo, I would have been rather lost. ( I did recognize the WUR!)

Well, that didn't work. How about you just list the info that you want to collect, something like this:

CIS DATABANK

Year of car:
Model:
Engine Number:
Fuel Distributor
Warm Up Regulator:
Aux Air Regulator
Aux Air valve {might be a tough one}
Decel valve
Ignition Distributor
CP setting

we could copy and paste the list and the info in a reply or in an email.
