Part Number for 1971 Clock

Does anyone know the part number for the clock in 1971 911's? I am looking to buy one to replace an inop clock and the part number is 911.641.701.29. I just want to be sure before I buy it. BTW anyone know what the going rate is for a working early 911 clock? Thanks much!

Send to North Hollywood Speedometer. They will replace the clock mechanism with a new quartz and restore your bezel and glass. Not cheap but if you want to keep the OEM look and have a good working clock it is the best way. OEM clocks are NLA. You can buy reproductions but the cost is probably similar to repairing yours. Good Luck.

901.641.701.00 is the part number for a '71 clock. The number you supplied is correct for '74-89.

Thanks Guys! I think that I will go to North Hollywood Speedometer and repair the original. As always, the Pelican members are the best!

My 71 clock didn't work when I got the car. I took it apart and found a fuseable link that had let go. Just a solder joint that melts in place of a fuse. Re-soldered and it has worked fine every since. Just a thought.
