Idle problem when AC is on

When the ac is on in my car the idle hunts constantly, did all the checks with idle speed switch etc. when I remove the oil tank cap the idle returns to normal. reinstall the cap idle stays fine. blip the throttle and it starts hunting again. this only happens when the AC is running it idles fine when it's off. Pretty sure it due to the added load on the engine. tried adjusting the idle mixture screw but it's backed out all the way already, oh by the way its the row carrera. not the turbo
