Throttle return sping(s) ?

Hi,
Just now starting to get a look at my 2.7 mfi setup.
(I posted a while back about rich running when cold, etc, but never got around to doing anything about it)

First thing I noticed is the throttle return spring.

The "rotational" spring doesn't seem to do its job, and doesn't return the throttle to the fully closed position, and it doesnt get to touch the microswitch.
Someone in their wisdom has fitted two long coil springs from the rear of the mfi unit to try to give the same effect, but they dont pull it fully closed.

I can't detect any binding/tightness in the cable itself, so I assume its just the spring is tired.

Anything special about the spring for this ... are they a generic type, or do I need a specific spring ?

Thanks,
Declan
