Need help finding a short

I have a short on the interior light circuit. I think it is fuse number 18 on the panel, 2nd or 3rd from the back of the panel. It shorted out going over a bump and it obviously has been a problem before as someone put a 25 amp fuse in the circuit. I have checked the lights on the roof to make sure it was not grounding out on the body, the same for the glove box light. Has anyone been here before with a little insight?

Thanks,

John,
I don't know that specific circuit. Can you eliminate a portion of the circuit and see if it no longer occurs? (IE apply process of elimination?

I'd be cautious of the 25 amp fuse, because the thin wire could burn up before the fuse does.
Not much help, but I'm trying.
Doug

I've tried it some, but frankly I haven't spent more than an hour mucking with it. I was just wondering if someone knew some particular trouble area, btw it is a 78 SC.
