Trunk area tidy up - what to do?

I've removed the fuel tank due to an apparent water in fuel problem, the battery is out due to rust in the tray (!) so I thought I may as well take the opportunity to give the whole front trunk a tidy up, including removing my now redundant ac lines - is there anything else that would be easier to do now while I'm at it?

Also any hints on the ac removal would be very helpful.

Thanks!

I would do a search and there are some guys here that have done some great work.
