225/55/15 ?????
I have found a set of SP8000 Dunlops locally and was wondering if this is a good fit for the rear of my 74 Carrera. I know I can Do 245/50/15 but these 225/55s are a great price. Has anyone ran this size before? I don't like the 205/50 225/50 stagger, it's to small for the wheel wells for me, and was wondering it the 225/55 is much taller? Pix or advise would be great, thx. ...oh, and my car is very low, don't know if it will rub?

Yes, it will work fine. Back in the days when the Carrera was new the oem rear was 215/60 x15, I ran 235/55 for a few years on my '72 RS clone w/ 215/60 x15 fronts, I had 7 & 8s, but 6 & 7 would be ok for the sizes you posted.
