Want to build a GT1?
For those of you that thought you had everything. Here's a link to purchase a GT1 body to put on an Ultima Chasis. This looks like the body source for the pictures posted here of the GT1 at a California track. I bet this would be fun with a 3.6-3.8 in it!
The Factory Five GTM guys are calling it another GTM competitor/copycat.

Wow!
I like. ~$8200 for the bodywork and another $3500 for the wing. All you need now is the chassis and everything else that goes with it. In the end, it would be a really great project.

I remember seeing the same pictures on a website for a car called Farboud GT.

That thing makes my pants feel funny...
![]() But why spend the big bucks on an expensive Ultima chassis? For less $$ you could probably buy a rear ended 911, cut off the back, and weld in a tube frame like Porsche did. Then install a mid engine motor and put this nice looking body shell on top of it...

judging from the headlights, it looks like the body from the first gen Farboud (which was a GT1 Evo replica)
