There's a fair bit of ad spamming happening on the regional forums (certainly the Australia/New Zealand one) - totally not porsche/car related, and not even from Australia/NZ. I think a couple even had Nigerian email addresses! They seem to pop up every couple of days.

I'm throwing out an offer of an Australian based moderator if you'd like? God knows I'm surfing the forums too often No offence to Chris Streit, but he's probably sleeping when we're all awake. There'd also be a few other Aussies that I'm sure would put their hands up... we all play very nicely in our backyard

I dont trust John, I mean the spammers start and he just "pops" up to save the day. And his 2800+ posts, how do you think he got those, you really think they are all from offering quality technical advice? Im skeptical, have you seen his 911? Its way too nice, probably not real. Try tracing his IP, 10 bucks says its Nigerian based.

I confess I'm not as dligent in checking the daily news down under. I've moved the ones that were sent to me and PM'd Wayne on the offending userid's but certainly wouldn't mind the help.

The spammers have been thick as theives this week.

...I've got a young child though, I'm up when EVERYONE is up.

I think most of us down under appreciate John being on on the board, making him a moderator of us antipodeans is a great idea.
