H5 to H4 Headlight conversion plug?

Hi,

Can someone tell me how the plug adaptor is used when converting from H5 to H4 headlamps? I ordered everything from Pelican and received two adaptors for the light connections, but am not sure if I am cutting off the existing plug or what to do with it...

Any clues?

Thanks,

Mike

I went through the same thing.
buttjoint is right. You have to cut your wires, but pay attention to where they go in relation to your old light.

After they are cut and stripped, you need to push up on side with the holes and insert the wire. Do the same fo reach. The side that has the holes is pushed on to your headlight.

Pelican lists the plugs as no longer available. What is the alternative for the plugs to convert the headlights to h4 lights?
thanks

Go to Autozone or Pep boys (any parts store) and P/U a H4 plug end and wire it up...About $9.00 a plug IIRC

the Sucro kit is great...but you do understand that his kit is for running the higher voltage lights and has nothing to do w/the connection in the headlight bucket.
