I think you may have been ripped off by the alignment shop. You have to start with the rear alignment, then the front. An alignment that does not include the rear setup first is a waste of money because you'll have to go right back and do the front all over after aligning the rear.

It was $50. Including the height adjustment, toe-in on the new tie rods, centering the wheel and adjusting camber all around. Drives great now. He told me to bring it back after I drop the rear and he'd check it and tweak it again, no charge. Midwestern hospitality.
