A/C question
I have a 75 911S, and I am almost sure it has dealer installed A/C. The vents are bolted to the bottom of the dash, along with a tunnell of sorts, that carries the air to the vents.
Does anyone know if this is dealer installed? I strongly suspect so.

depends, you could have parts of this and parts of that,
most "dealer" units had a knee pad vent panel that had three louvers on the left of ash tray and three on the right, and the controls were mounted in the same knee pad vent panel adjacent the tray,,, call the Behr Knee Pad Vent (nothing to do with Behr paint, the other Behr) now where are those pictures.....hmmmmm, AH,,,, here is the link http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/mult_AC_faq/bez-inst.jpg

OK, Thanks. That is very similar to my car.
So, does a factory air car have the vents in the top of the dash? I ask b/c I am shopping for a plastic dash cover and they specify with air. I think I need one w/o air.
