				How to separate oil lines?

I'm trying to complete my engine swap, but the new engine has oil lines that are too long for my configuration and I need to swap them out. How do I separate the hard oil lines from the flexible line? Is the "collar" removeable? Do I use a pipe wrench to separate them or do I need to take them to a special shop that does hydralic lines, etc...? How would I rove the hard line from the engine? Thanks!

Never mind, I figured outwhat the problem is and what I have to do to fix it. I have to replace the hard oil line that goes under the flywheel and attaches to the bottom of the engine. The exhaust is in the way so I'm afraid I'll have to remove that. This is turning into a giant headache. I've got one axle put back on. What is the trick to reinstalling the axle? There isn't snough room to mate the axle back up to the tranny. I'm trying to attach the axle and gasket, but there's got to be a better way.
