As i stated in my first post, the WUR i am using came from a 1978 Porsche 928. (model# 0-438-140-053) I have since set the proper control pressures and reset the mixture (since the higher control pressures create a lean mixture) The cold start problems have now dissapeared and the car runs great throughout the whole temperature band.

I only have one more problem to solve. If i really mash the pedal, the car still runs lean and backfires. I would assume i am having vacuum enrichment problems, but since i dont have a vacuum tester, i cant validate that for sure. Since i am using an unfamiliar WUR, i know that Bosch switched the enrichment ports (top and side) on varying models of WURs. Is there any way to figure out which port is the vacuum enrichment port?
