New shifter pops out of third, and grids in to 5.

I think I need to adjust something but I am not sure were to make the adjustment.

I have not had any issues till I replaced the older stock shifter I had , with a Stock 73 shifter wiht the factory short shift kit on it.

I noticed that when driving the shifter pops or slides out of third gear. also it is harder to go it to secong, and grids into 5.

Not easy going it to reverse either.

All that being said, I love the new shift's feel over the old one, I am sure I just need to make a adjustment or two.

Any help
