You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

I take it you, the OP, are not a fan of 959 replicas?

I see that it has an OEM 930 airbox in the trunk, so at least maybe it has some "go" to go along with the "show"?!

that 914 isnt the ugliest thing I have seen, heck I've seen some worse looking new cars right off the show room floor

I am not a great 959 fan, but besides it's a cab, it don't look so bad to me...

Hmmmmmm, I like the Booty double.. I mean Body double: J Lo shot... the car not so much!

I don't think I've seen a 959 replica yet where they got the wheel fitment rght. Never enough wheel/tire to properly fill the well.

That's the most tasteful 959 replica (open top) I've ever seen.

However, it's not for everyone.

I'd rather prefer something closer to a stock cabriolet myself.

The biggest thing bugging me, is that it could use some wheel spacers. That might not be an option with those large radius inside returns on the wheel arches.

A real one I took photos of:

Most 911s need the right wheels to look their best

That's not the worst... The ones that are a mix of a 356 and 959 are absolutely horrid.
At least it's in one piece and seems to be working.

I wonder how many "project" cars like this never see the outside of a garage???

Pretty Bad.

As I always say: "Better to have a real Swatch than a fake Rolex".

Stock is trick!
