what's missing.

i just recieved a 1977 2.7 911s engine. after checking i found some parts missing. i called the seller and he's sending what was missing but we can't identify a part. at the fuel line input on the lower left side there is a t-fitting.the fuel line runs to something but that something isn't there. also from the throttle body there is a larger hose running to the same area and on the top there is a smaller vacuum hose. i need to know what this device might be. thanks.

I am not sure if I understand the situation correctly, but the line with the "T" connector sounds like the fuel line that feeds both stacks and the smaller line should be the one that attaches to the distibuter for the advance. I would wait for more info and other responses, but this might give you something to look at.

Kinda hard to guess based on your description. Based on what you have said, I would guess that the lines form an upside down T. The base of the upside down T (i.e. the part pointing up) goes to the bottom of the fuel accumulator. The left hand side (looking at the engine from the rear, facing front) connects to a fuel line that comes from somewhere near the front of the car, I'm not sure if its a delivery or return line.

The other device that you mention sounds like the decel valve.

Good luck.

If the fuel system is similar to the 3.0 CSI injection system that tee you are talking about is for the return fuel line to the fuel tank. The supply line from the fuel pump goes through the accumulator tank, through the filter and then to the back of the fuel distribution block. The fuel goes through the fuel distributor, and goes either through through the fuel distributo to the injectors, or to the pressure regulator which connects to the return line to the fuel tank. There is a return line on the back of the fuel distributor at the relief valve which also returns fuel to the fuel tank. I hope this info helps.

Regards

Steve
