Question Installing Mech. Brake Light Switch Quest.

Hello:

'79 SC

Installing mechanical brake light switch per great write-ups found on search... One quick question: I am able to verify that the switches at the master cyl don't work, but I only get one of the brake lights to work when 'by-passing' the connection. Question is this: Do both lights work off same switch? I assume they do. I did replace bulbs and clean the contacts at the rear end... Any ideas?

Thanks!

Eric

Eric,

Yes, both brake light wires are tied together ... looks like it would be between the two 6-pin connectors in the engine compartment ... Green/Yellow wire.
