Replacing H-1 bulb

Went to replace the H-1 high beam bulb and after I removed the ring around the headlight, saw that there are two screws each side and a screw at the bottom, which seem to be for beam alignment. How is the bulb accessed - do I just grip the headlamp at the top and pull?

Thank you!

John:

The screw at the very bottom holds the headlight assembly in place. The side screws are for beam alignment.

Just loosen the bottom screw and gently lift. Its secured at the top by a little lip. Keep two hands on everything so you can hold the lamp when loose and pull the connector.

H-1 lamp replacement will be intuitive at this point,..

When you reinstall them, make sure that the top of the lamp assembly is hooked on the lip so it cannot fall out after the bottom screw is secured.
