Question idle value. mine seems low, why?

It seems that I've been noticing my idle speed is lower than it used to be. What (many) things can I check.
and what should the value be?
mine seems to be around (from what I can tell) between 600+ to 750.
It doesn't hunt up or down, it's seems pretty consistent.

SE

only mods are a SWchip.

Pretty sure that the idle from 84-86 was set to 800. Sometimes putting in the chip will affect the idle, but IIRC, usually higher not lower.

There is a procedure for setting the idle that was probably included with the instructions for your sw chip. You can also find this information on his website, and undoubtedly in the archives of this forum. If you don't have any other problems, I'd try that, it is a simple procedure.
