DAS-Sport System Rollbar?
Considering welding in one of these. Not ready for a full cage as the car is 90% street driven.
Pros? Cons? DAS Sport's phone # seems to be out of service. THAT can't be good.

I have the DAS "weekender" in my Targa. It is a bolt in roll bar. The fit was fine, and I have no real complaints about quality. Design wise, the top bar could have been set higher to be closer to the ceiling of the car/targa bar. As it is, the DAS bar cuts right across my line of sight out of the rear view mirror.

They don't appear to have a working phone #. Out of business?

Moses,
There was a thread about this recently. Roll bar Someone mentioned that since the DAS uses existing holes, it doesn't add rigidity. I like it because it is easily reversable.

I have a DAS in my 993 it goes in easily, no new holes. Gives a nice solid place to tie off the harness. It is PCA club race approved.
The only negative is weight. You do realize that any decent bar will make the rear area unusable.

I had one in my Carrera and it was fine.
That being said, Dave B. makes a very nice one.

I have one in my SC and it is great. No holes to drill and the required removal of the rear seat backs helps to offset some of the added weight.

I doubt they are out of business. If the phone # on the DAS website doesn't work it may have been changed or just out of order.
If you have no luck there, then try CDOC , you can get the DAS rollbar thru them. I have a bolt-in one in my Carrera cab, fits great, no complaints. Good luck
