JC's RS project - LET THERE BE LIGHT!!
Well now that I am practically blind from squinting at wiring diagrams, this thing has some illumination. Still some bugs to work out, but I thought this was a nice milestone for an update. This thing is starting to look like a car!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I admit, it was much easier to match things up considering we have 5 other 72 911s here at the shop. I think we are going to start holding the VTK meetings here. |

I'd leave the front as is - you won't have to worry about getting air to your oil cooler

Very nice! I wish my paint was so nice. Keep us posted and keep up the nice work. If you haven't already said, what power are you packing in the back?

Well, I wish my paint was as nice as it came out in the picture as well.
Powered by a 2.4 E MFI. Should keep me out of too much trouble. Although, nothing like a twin-plugged 2.8 to use while shopping jail cells. |

Thanks James. If you really like the wheels, I could be persuaded to trade for yours.

I notice you have front turn signal buckets now. Are those originals or are those the new units that TRE is making?

Well, now I have wiper problems. My 2nd speed on the wipers is blowing the fuse. I'll look for another motor and try that. You can hear the motor struggling on speed 2, so I'm pretty sure it is no bueno. Then the fresh air goes in. I have most of the gas tank vent system plumbed in. Once I am done putting carpet in the trunk I will be a very happy man!!
So bumpers, carpet, E-brake, door panels, horn, oil level guage, align, corner balance, tires, and lots of other misc detail work including final full-on nut and bolt and I should be ready for GAF. Registration and insurance too. For classic car insurance I have to have it looking pretty for the pictures. (I know, no rollbar), then once she is insured I will get tags, and once I have a bumper to mount the lic. plate on, it's Mulholland Drive time for a shake down!!!!!!!!!!! WooooHoooo!!!!!!!!!!! Hey Banning, you out there???? Just kiddin man, don't wait for me at Bowmont OK. |
