Aluminum adjustable accelerator pedal, silver, 911/912/930 all [Photo]
PEL-A10S $262.50 This is the way I get into things I don't need to get into. The first time I saw that stock gas pedal, Lets just say I was disapointed. So I'm looking at some little tidbits to spruce up my pedal cluster if I ever get my clutch pedal back, (A spring, new rubber) And what catches my eye... This beautiful adjustable pedal. Well $262.50 kept me moving right along. Then, just this evening, I visited the place where my pedal cluster will return to sometime very soon and I saw that sorry a$$ stock gas pedal sitting on the passenger seat with its cheesy plastic hinge. And that beautiful aluminum adjustable pedal flashed before my eyes... Oh God! I'm a junky! http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/images/Rennline/ped-adj-all-sr-4-corner.jpg

I dunno, it just doesn't do it for me.
RUF has a nice aluminum pedal that goes over the stock one. You can see a picture of one here) What I did over summer vacation AFJuvat

Why are you looking at the pedals? Don't your feet know where to go?

Pedals won't make you any faster....... But I'd look at the Rennline stuff and maybe save a few bucks if I wanted to look pretty and go fast. They have a pretty nice set for under $200 if I remember correctly.

You guys aren't getting the point. It's not about speed or even pretty. It is about the cheesy plastic hinge that looks like it can peel apart at any moment. Look at the fine engineering that went into that pedal. I know it is insane but this is how my mind works. The cheesy plastic hinge works on AFJuvat's turbo just fine. I'm sure it will push my 180 HP SC along well enough.
Thank you for straightening me up though. I don't need to waste any money tonight. I can dream can't I? Don't you like the heel plate though? Come on, You gotta love the adjustable heel plate? Anyway, I have aluminum covers on my pedals already, they look pretty enough. I can buy a hinge for 50 cents. And screw the top of a coffee can where the heel plate would go ![]()

That doesn't even look like a pedal. It looks like some sort of surgical device.

their regular pedal set works fine, we picked it up at GAF in 03 on the cheap. I made another pedal out of alu that I like better. I think I might take off the Rennline ones and put grip tape on the clutch and brake.

That pedal sure looks like the proverbial "brick

I have the Rennline adjustable pedal in black and like it a lot. True,
it doesn't make you go faster. However the adjustability makes threshold braking and "heel & toe" a lot easier (at least for a busted up old amateur like me).

Do they still make the Wings Engineering "The Third Foot"? I have it in my car and really like it. It is adjustable, great for "heel toe", and looks good. I paid $109.00.

Yeah - if you can heel and toe with the normal pedals you are my hero - or much more limber legged than I am... Maybe it's just my big feet.

The pedal has too many moving parts for me to feel good about it at speed.
Cheers, James

I installed this one last night, though I have yet to drive with it...damn road salt (and finicky sway bar). Great build quality and fully adjustable for $141.75.
