Turn Signal / Flasher Problem (PIX)

Today I was reinstalling my center console and after hooking up the switches my emergency flasher did not work but the switch light burns solid red when depressed??? Then I checked my turn signal and they dont work either??? Now I know hooked them up properly - theres only one way the hazard switch plugs in. What could I have done?

Is there a chance I did something and fried my relay? Does this sound like a relay issue?

Thanks as always!

If the flasher relay is okay it could be a bad ground. You can run a ground to the switch with a jumper wire to check.

Is this my flasher relay location? I couldnt find a pic here. If it is - looks like this is part of my issue because the the relay in mine is 3 prong and its supposed to be 4 prong??? The PO must have been too cheap!! Strange how the signals worked but I never tried the 4 way so I dont know.

Got a good deal ($199) on a carpet kit and so far I'm over $2000 and now this!!!! So I'm a little frustrated!

Yes, you need a four prong flasher. You may be able to get one at a local auto parts store. Just make sure the pins are wired for the car. Look at your electrical diagram and take a pin diagram to the store. You need the pins of the flasher to match the socket. This should fix the problem. Or call Pelican. They have them too. Good luck.
