Do we have 1 or 2 O2 sensors on an 88?...
my HC's were way too high at my emissions test, thinking I have a bad O2 sensor.

There is also an oxygen sensor relay that you should change while you're at it. Around $20

Why, is that a troublesome relay? Haven't heard of that particular problem...

ah, yeah, found it. gotta find something else to order with it, seeing i can get a sensor elsewhere for cheaper.

That coax is supposed to go directly to the DME. The heater for the OXS is an un-fused lead off the DME relay that also powers the fuel pump. It should be easy to tell if that is working. ![]() |
