weird "clunk" noise from my 82 sc
Hi, every once in a while when I push the clutch in it makes a pretty lound "clunk" noise, not sure what it is, but it one happens a second after I push my clutch in. For example when I go in neutral. Any ideas???

Just a shot but check and make sure youe axles are tight to the output flanges on the trans.

I had a similar noise on my 82 Targa a few months ago.
Found out is was loose CV bolts after the axle fell off

And it could be rear wheel bearings speaking their age.
