Big vacuum leaks. Today, I learned a little bit more about how the Mass Air meter works, more specifically the air part. I never plugged the hole where the brake booster tube hooked into the intake and I never hooked up the breather hose to the throttle body . I guess the air meter was bypassed when I was pressing the pedal and opening the throttle body, which was allowing the car to start, but not to idle.

Air-Fuel-Compression-Spark != Rocket Surgery

Thanks BR! Brakes are no biggie. I'll have it all wraped up next weekend, hopefully.

I also have a mouse problem to deal with now. I splattered one of them in my fan last weekend and I expect there are either more or a nest under my engine shroud. Bastards!

OK. I had some issues with that as well. DwSD sent me some parts for a quick fix(for free). Good guy and I owe him some beers!
