Clickety Clack Upon Start
Hey there--
Each time I start my SC after it's sat for at least 3 hours it clicks and clacks near the right front. The noise only lasts for 5-10 seconds then is gone. Any ideas? TIA, Jack

The only thing I could think of is that the fuel pump vanes/bearings are thrashed underneath. Only a guess. Or mabye something with the vapor recovery diverter near the firewall?
Have someone start it while sitting in the trunk. |

In a hydraulic lifter car that would be an indicator that you may have a weak oil pump or a sticky lifter.

Told you I was lame; I almost didn't want to close the thread for embarassment. Thanks anyway...Jack
