Well, it's the right engine number prefix, and the font looks the same as that used by the factory for their stampings. But why is the rest of the engine number obscured by that white square? I mean, the seller is going to have to disclose the entire number if he wants people to bid on it.
Weird.

Just to clarify things, the seller is Manipou & the engine is for sale in the UK - nothing to do with the seller of RS#406...
