The hardest part will be getting someone to program a chip compatible with the blower. Any rising rate fuel pressure regulator will work, and of course you will have to fabricate all the ducting and mounting brackets. Yes its a lot of work, but its much eaiser than a turbo. I know that SOK made this unit for the ROW cars, but they didnt recomend it, as the comp ratio is too high, and a different chip is used to retard the ign timing even further than for a us spec car. Additional you need to have at least a turbo tail (without ac) to accomidate the blower. I tryed it with a ducktail, and its not even close. Anybody want to buy a ducktail? SOK is no longer in business, and hasent been making these kits for the last five or so years.

yea the ford tensioner is from a 86-93 mustang gt although most ford 5.0 or 5.8 engines had them, among other ford products.
making boost (compressing air) is what generates heat, and intercooler always provides denser air and more horsepower.
the eaton m90 (thunderbird supercoupe) is a twin screw roots type blower that offers more low end torque than the picturesd centrifual type blower. a current project we have going on is a Twincharged merkur xr4ti with a eatonm90, hx40 turbo and volvo head. running a bypass valve to use blower boost down low, then switch to turbo boost as it spools.
kinda like the lancia delta s4 and other group b rally cars....

How's the noise level on this particular unit? Does it whine all the time? Thanks!

No thats whats cool about it , it only whines when your up over 4500 rpm, It kinda sounds like a turbo spooling up.

IIRC, TCP was written up in Excellence quite a few years ago for a 3.2 SC system they developed. I called when I read the article and they denied it ever went to production.

Dean: sounds lie an interesting project you have there.

Also, Steve Wong may be able to help with the chip.
