Automatic Door Lock Not Working

I noticed on my last drive that the automatic door lock would not engage the lock on the driver's side door.

I have to manually lock / unlock this door from the passenger side now.

I've read in earlier posts that there's a little plastic part that's most likely broken.

Anyone have any pics of this part or part numbers?

Also - I've never taken the door apart. How easy is this? I saw maybe three screws that I could remove. Do I just remove these screws and carefully take out the door liner?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Kato

Re: Automatic Door Lock Not Working

Sorry ... the search forum function seemed to be knackered this afternoon. I've now found more than enough info to get the job done.

Kato,
I've done this several times.
In fact I did it again last weekend.
PM and I'll give you my phone number and I can walk you through it if you'd like.
