RSR Clone Birthday

The pics are from the Zone 1 "24 hrs at the Glen" which took place the last weekend in June. My son and I met the Excellence photographer at the track a few days before the event. He shot for 5 hours straight and the photo previews I've seen are extraordinary.

The green 944 Turbo S in the photo was extremely fast. I think he was the only guy in my run group that I could not keep up with.

The first time I saw this car in person, it was falling off a jack while you were prepping for the Zone 1 concours. It was a sheer stroke of luck that the jack didn't punch right through the left rear fender, and it precipitated a discussion with John Paterak on the proper jacking points for a 911. Close call!

Pete Stout tells me that it will be in the next issue of Excellence which should be out in early November.

I am not planning on the Nov DE.
