Replacing the rear window rubber weatherstrip

How difficult is it to replace the rear window weatherstrip. I have an '80 SC. It looks to be a simple operation. Any tips on how to do this? Looks as though the toughest part may be to remove the metal trim. Thanks, John

cut the old trim out with a knife, being careful not to bend the trim them put the new trim in the rubber BEFORE you put the window in!! a little dish soap or other lubricant helps here nand then rope it in, not that bad to do just make sure the window is centered hardest part is the wiring for the rear window de fog. you have to use old rubber as a pattern for the holes. good luck
