Need help window "squeege" on targa

How do you get a new "squeege" weatherstrip in a 88 Targa door?
should be so simple but it aint, unless I'm missing something.

This the rubber strip that cleans the window when you roll it up and down. I cut the old one out now I'm stuck!!!!!!!!

Gonna take a supper break and think about it.

I'm not sure on a '88, but on my '69, I popped the aluminum trim off, and slid the rubber in from the end.

I replaced the one on my 74 Targa. I put some dishwashing soap in the slot to help it slide in. Worked like a champ.

THANKS MAN THAT WAS IT, I knew it had to be simple.

I had been screwing with that thing for an hour, and it took 2 min to fix.
