Painted Roll Bars
Will be installing a Bolt in Roll Bar in a 84 sunroof coupe in the near future and would like to see some installs in other 911's. Is anyone painting theirs other than black? Any pics out there. Thanks

Ruby Red with black interior. Thinking of silver to match the factory 996 wheels

![]() I had this Autopower bar powder-coated before installation in my 89 sunroof coupe. It gives a nice place to add all the stickers you acquire through the years. |

i powdercoated mine since it came off truck pretty scuffed up. did it in semi flat black....$50 bucks and 2 days later it was done from our powdercoater in tempe. must have SFI or FIA padding if racing in any sanctioned race. reason padding will not melt onto you in event of fire.

Another reason....it has the proper "absorbtion" characteristics not found in piping insulation !!!...
