Comprehensive 911 data file...

Guys,

I am in the process of creating a comprehensive excel spreadsheet file for 911 specifications from 1964 on. I know this is a big task and will take me quite a bit of time to complete, especially since I only spend 10 minutes or so a day on it, but I feel that it may come in handy. Please check it out and let me know if there are any more data columns that would be helpful. Go to my webpage and click the link entitled "Porsche Specification Spreadsheet". Thanks.

Bill

I have an excel spreadsheet with the information you can find at Pelican. I went ahead and imported their textfile into excel...which took an hour or so (getting rid of confusing delimiters etc), want me to mail it to you? It will at least fill a few columns of your spreadsheet...let me know.

I have a horsepower, weight and torque chart that I have assembled from various sources, if you want it.

Im always *really* suprised Porsche dont include this info on their website. They used to have some data for pre '74 cars but I cant find that anymore. They did have data attached to the approved used cars, but now that seems to have gone.

One of my biggest problems has been been finding the differences between US and Euro cars. Even Paul Freirs (spelling?) and Zimmeramns "used 911 story" are only of a partial help. I'd love to get the complete official(Porsche) spec list of all 911s.

Good luck with your project though, definatley usefull.
