Need help identifying part

Hi, folks. I need a little help identifying a part, please. For clarification purposes, I consider the front of the engine the part closest to the back of the car... OK, so I have a nasty oil leak which I have followed to the unit shown in the picture. I thought this was the oil pressure sender unit but in the book the oil pressure sensor is on top of the engine but in the front portion of the engine right next to the fan. This little jewel is on top of the rear portion of the engine right below the air intake parts.

I have not been able to find the part in the book I have and thought someone out there could lend a quick hand.

Thanks in advance,

Oil Leak

Looking at the PET, this could be the oil pressure switch. Part #911 606 230 00. It is on top, at the back by the oil thermostat. If it is the oil thermostat, the part # is 930 107 765 00. Just some ideas, don't take this as gospel.

Cheers

Thanks... I have heard these are notorious for leaking. Other than the hose that is also shown in the picture, is the switch the most likely thing to leak in this area?
