Smoking car!! I need to start looking for me a project like this!
Yeah, show up at R Gruppe and go "begun the Clone War has"
Well it pretty amazing I know about quite a few of these RSR clones and they are all different. It amazing to me we are copying a design of a car that was built in 1973.

It's because all the "cool" was used up after that...
I have wanted a car like this for as long a I can remember. I can't wait for spring, which in MT is a long time from now.

Man, that is an absolutely beautiful car. If i saw that on the road I'd ride beside you looking at for so long I'd probably freak you out. Nice work.

whoa there, "clone" is not a pejorative term unless the clonee is being passed off as the genuine article.
If someone says "nice clone" then that's a compliment. If someone goes "I'll pay ya $10,000 for that RSR clone" then that is not so nice. |
I'll get more pics hopefully in the next couple of weeks. As far as the the motor goes 10.5:1 JE pistons, Elgin cams, Ported and polished heads, Electromotive twin plug crank fired Ignition, 50mm PMO carbs, ARP rod bolts, 964 oil pump, 930 exhaust valves - The usual hot rod stuff. It's great motor, tons of torque, fells like a V8 in a 2000 lb car.
